Sportplex summer sports camps

  • Schedule: 9:30 to 15:30
  • Snacks: Provided by the parent (one in AM and one in PM). Nuts and peanuts are prohibited.
  • Also provide a reusable water bottle.
  • Clothes: Sports clothes that are comfortable to move, and a cap.
  • Shoes: A pair of closed shoes is required for movements and outdoor activities.
  • Sunscreen: Provided by the parent (ideally, apply cream to your child before arriving to camp). During periods of nice weather, the instructor will have access to the outdoor lawn areas located at the Louis-Philippe Paré school.

General Information

  • Hours: 7:00 to 9:30 & 15:30 to 18:00.
  • A fee of $ 5 per 15 minutes late will be charged per child from 18:00.
  • Location: Multipurpose room, gymnasium, common area.
  • Snacks: Provide one or two additional snacks to your child if he arrives before 8:30  and / or leaves after 16:30 p.m.
  • Also provide a reusable water bottle.
  • Registration (per child and per week) is at the following rates:
  • Residents: $ 45 / week ($ 36 for the weeks we are closed during holidays (St-Jean and Canada Day)
  • Non-Residents: $ 50 / week ($ 40 for the weeks when we are closed during holidays (St-Jean and Canada Day)
  • When you register the same child for 4 weeks of sports camps (baseball, 7 sports and / or martial arts), the 4th week of daycare is free.
  • To benefit from this discount, you must register for the 4th week of daycare in person at the Sportplex.
  • Mandatory membership card: A membership card must be activated before the first day of camp at a cost of $ 8 for residents and $ 12 for non-residents (one year activation). This card is required to register for the activities, to subscribe to the training track as well as to subscribe to the Outdoor Aquatic Complex located in Beauharnois. This card gives you access to discounts, certain free trial periods and a pre-registration period for our courses.

BASEBALL CAMP

This camp aims to initiate, deepen the basic techniques and introduce Baseball to children 6 to 12 years old while having fun.

The instructors are players who play on the Pirates of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu team of the LBMQ.

  • Location: Synthetic, gymnasium and outdoor
  • Shoes: A pair of closed shoes is required for movements and outdoor activities. No cleats since sometimes children will play in the gymnasium.
  • Equipment: A baseball glove provided by the parent. If your child has an aluminum baseball bat and his own baseball helmet, he should bring it.
MARTIAL ARTS CAMP

This camp aims to initiate and introduce different martial arts techniques to children 6 to 12 years old while having fun.The instructor has several years of experience and is an international expert in self-defense and martial arts.

Thanks to his multiple certifications,the instructor is a qualified Master instructor.
